Write an Icon
Préparation de la planche :
Elle débute par le marouflage (colle de peau et pose d’une toile). Ensuite, pendant huit à dix jours elle nécessite le passage de 14 à 20 couches de LEVKAS toutes les 12 heures !
Enfin, après deux mois de séchage, elle s’achève avec le ponçage.
La qualité du Levkas et sa parfaite et minutieuse application offrent une surface lisse telle le marbre, ainsi qu’une texture d’une rare finesse.
La préparation de la planche est une discipline nécessaire pour comprendre le travail.
La texture obtenue allie rigueur et persévérance, elle aide à comprendre le cheminement de la technique de l’écriture de l’icône.
